Repetitive Stress Injuries

Everyday stressors are not always easy, but they’re not big disasters either. In fact, a bit of everyday stress can actually be good. For example, the stress most of us feel before presenting in class boosts our adrenaline and helps us perform at our best.

In fact, common signs of stress include sleeping problems, sweating, loss of appetite and difficulty concentrating. You may feel anxious, irritable or low in self esteem, and you may have racing thoughts, worry constantly or go over things in your head.

Get organized. Keep track of your projects and deadlines by making a list of what’s urgent.
Don’t put things off. Use a schedule planner to plan your day or week.
Learn to say “no.” Don’t overcommit yourself. If you take on too much, you’re creating stress.
Focus. Do one thing at a time. Concentrate. Delegate.
